The 2017 ASIAM series begins and ends at Wickham Woodlands, the former Mid-Hudson Correctional Facility that was recently purchased by the Town of Warwick. The newly dedicated park lies in the midst of the old prison buildings and sits on the shores of Wickham Lake. The lawn at Wickham Woodlands is a peaceful place for warming up before and cooling down after the race. Familes and friends are encouraged to bring a picnic or a book to while away the time until you cross the finish line.
The second race in the ASIAM Series is a tour of the historic Village of Warwick, NY. Meander through the beautiful business district during the quietest time of the week. The finish line will land you steps away from the Warwick Valley Farmers’ Market. Where better to refuel after a race than with the bounty of the local farms?
